The ruffles are on the front side only. the mini ruffles measure about ½” long, the larger ruffles are 1”. All edges are cut perfectly straight and left raw because the fabric does not fray and stitching the edges would interfere with the fabric’s natural stretch – one of the things I love most about it! the ruffle blanket is a polyester blend and is machine washable, line dry.
