Very nice blanket. It is soft and silky feeling. We will know more about how the split works when cold weather comes. The blanket is huge, really too big. It hangs about 3 feet off the side, and we have a thick mattress. It is difficult to get it all tucked in. Seems like it is meant for a king. It is frustratingly difficult to make the bed. The edges of the spilt show a lot under the bedspread. My wife first said to send it back, but then she said OK. It would be easier if it had some kind of closure, like a zipper. I hope the width of the blanket won't make it want to pull to the side given how far it hangs down. Also, I wonder is the seam that holds the split to the one piece at the foot of the bed will pull apart. I'm sure there will be some stress there. It may be fine. Time will tell.
