Hi, I’m Louise, the owner of VARI. As a mom of four young kids, one of the hardest parts of daily life is seeing stuff scattered all over the house—every single day. (Of course, the kids’ screaming is also pretty high on the list!) I still remember a conversation with a friend who has three kids. She joked, “I know my home is going to be messy anyway, but I at least want the stuff in the mess to be pretty, so the mess looks a little cuter!” That thought stayed with me. When I created VARI, I wanted to build a place where creativity, sustainability, beauty, and affordability could all come together—where everyday things can be useful, thoughtful, and beautiful without feeling out of reach. Because family life may never be perfectly tidy, but the things filling our homes can still bring a little more beauty and joy into the everyday mess.
