Hand Knotted Bead Lanyards

I bought this in December to hold a key for work. It stays in a drawer except when needed ( about once a week) I noticed last week the beads looked like they were separating but when I went to take the key off the string broke and is now just a broken strand. It is very cute but if you are planning on it being functional I would be careful.
