Pockets do stick out but I wear it anyway because I like the tunic style of it. I wear it with leggings. It's long enough to do that. The black didn't show my stomach too much It's an XL I am 5'6", 225 lbs. And I wear all different sizes here on Jane. Lol. This worked well
