I love these shorts. They are soft and yes, thin, but you should expect that since these are not the expensive compression $50 name brand leggings. Even though they are thin, I don't see a problem with these being see through. I have the brick colored ones and no underwear see through for me. The waistband stays put on me as well. I just finished a home workout and I'm confident these will pass the test at the gym too. I'm 5'3" and 164 pounds. I bought the large and I already ordered a second pair of these. .
