Shorts are cute, however they run VERY small. After reading reviews, most suggested to size up at least one if not two sizes. I am a size 6, and typically wear a M in elastic waist bottoms. I went ahead and ordered an XL - two sizes larger - and they still dig into my waist creating an unflattering silhouette. So, unless the model is the size of an underweight 11 year old girl, I am not sure who on earth could fit into a small, which is apparently what is shown in pictures according to the description.

Size 6 5'2" and got a medium. Nice relaxed fit. Length just past my ankle but not dragging on the ground! Little thin, but I got black and it is not see thru. Ordered two more and plan to use a white one as a swim cover up.
