I ordered my usual size medium per the recommendations, but skirt fit was very small, particularly around the hips where the tiers of fabric were sewn together. Not flattering at all. Size up— maybe 2 sizes.

The first tier falls right under your butt and is super tight- so instead of getting a cute, flowy boho work skirt, I look more like a Sofia Vergara wanna-be. I ordered the medium which should be plenty big for me. I had to give it to a friend who is a size small and has a pancake butt.

Super cute, nice flow. And it is sewn together where the buttons are so you don't have to worry about any gaps between the buttons.
